Prevent Programs from Loading at Startup

Why to prevent programs from loading at Startup?

The simple answer will be that when you install  software's, some of the them are set to start automatically every time you boot the system. The problem with this is that if you have lots of programs starting up at boot time, your PC will become slow as it loads those programs into memory. To save memory space as well as decrease the boot time and in turn making your system faster we need to disable certain programs which are not required on day to day basis. To do this go to
  1. Start>Run
  2. Type "msconfig"
  3. In the msconfig window navigate to Startup Tab.
  4. Read the descriptions of each program and decide for your self which program needs to be disabled.
Imp:There are certain services which are important to be started automatically on system boot such as Firewall, Antivirus, Audio Driver, Bluetooth Driver, Synaptics Pointing Device Driver and other important services based on your PC or laptop. Always keep these services enabled.

Note:Disabling a service does not mean that you cannot run the software again, disabling a service simply means that you are instructing the system to not start certain software's automatically and instead you will enable the services manually when you require them.
Services and Software is not to be mixed up, whenever you open a software, a service corresponding to the software automatically starts up in the background without you knowing about it.
