Make Mozilla Firefox load websites faster

How to Make Mozilla Firefox load websites faster?

If you think that your firefox is slow you can try the following tweak to make websites load faster.
Note: Write down the original values on a paper before changing them, so that in worst case you can revert back to normal settings.

Imp:Learn more on what the following entries actually do in the background before changing them.

Steps:
  1. Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit enter.
  2. A warning sign will appear, click continue.
  3. Scroll to the entry- "network.http.pipelining" - Change the value to "True" by double-clicking it.
  4. Scroll to the entry- "network.http.proxy.pipelining" - Change the value to "True" by double-clicking it.
  5. Scroll to the entry- "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" - Change the value to "8" by double-clicking it. Not more than 8, because 8 is the max value allowed.
  6. Now, right-click anywhere and select New >>Integer, name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
  7. Now, close the browser and start again, pages will load much faster than your previous settings.
