Disable Control Panel

How to Disable Control Panel?

You can prohibit users from using the Control Panel.
  1. Click ‘Start | Run’.
  2. Type ‘GPEDIT.MSC’
  3. When the group policy window opens, scroll to ‘User Configuration |Administrative Templates | Control Panel’.
  4. On the right panel, double-click on ‘Prohibit access to the Control Panel’
  5. Select ‘Disabled’ in the ‘Properties’ window that comes up next.
  6. Save all settings and the user will not be able to open the ‘Control Panel’.
  7. To enable again,  go back to GPEDIT.MSC and change the rights to Enabled.
