Connect Two Computers Directly

How to do it?

1. Firstly you to need to create a cross-over Ethernet cable. For making one refer to How To Make A Network Cable Post.
2. After you are done preparing your cable now you are ready to connect it to your computers directly.
3. But you need to change certain settings for transferring data between 2 computers.
4. You can refer to these settings from How To Setup a Private Network Post. Refer to Points 4 and 5.

Tips:

1. To share your files, right click on any folder and choose Sharing to make them shared.
2. You can also do this with your printers to be able to print from one computer while the printer is connected to the other.
